Biography
Lynn Kibbe has had a love of art from as long as she can remember, and art has been part of her life as long. As an adolescent, she was drawing at every opportunity. She was a hobby artist until deciding to become a full-time artist for which she is so grateful to be doing what she loves. She works in contemporary realism which is a genre of painting that focuses on depicting the world as it appears, without idealizing or stylizing. It is often characterized by its attention to detail and accuracy of representation, as well as its focus on everyday scenes. The goal of this style is often to portray the world realistically while still expressing the vision and emotions of the artist.
Scratchboard has been her sole medium since 2010. Marrying her love of animals with her love of art, inspired her art career as a nature and wildlife artist. However, she still loves and occasionally creates florals and still life subjects.
Lynn is active in the local art scene and her work is with collectors across the United States and abroad; and has been chosen to be included in the Susquehanna Health Tower Project for use in medical centers around the region.
Both Lynn and her husband grew up and now live again (after serving on active duty and as a civil servant in the Air Force) in north central Pennsylvania on 106 acres of property where nearly all of Pennsylvania's wildlife can be viewed (and inspiring her artwork)."

Donations to Worthy Causes
"Art for Animals" - I regularly make donations from sales or donate pieces to worthy causes as fundraisers. Since I paint a lot of animals and am an animal lover, I typically like to donate to those causes. Past organizations I've donated to include ASPCA, SPCA (Willilamsport), SPCA (Lock Haven), Beckoning Cat Project (Williamsport) and Appalachian Horse Help & Rescue (Linden) as well as donations to several animal rescue organizations that participated in the national Flood/Fire ravaged areas.
Appalachian Horse Help and Rescue

Beckoning Cat Project
Best Friends, Hurricane Irma Relief
